At some time in our lives a quarter of us will suffer the symptoms of depression.  Depression can be the result of too much stress or a life event, however whatever the cause it shows that we are normal sensitive human beings. If you are reading this then the chances are that you or someone close to you is suffering from depression.

The first step is to consult your GP. Some people find it useful to consult a therapist if the depression persists.
